Congratulations to our Fall All-Scholastics!

Derek Papagianopoulos
BB&N, Senior, LB/RB
Papagianopoulos was a ground-breaking running back and linebacker for the Knights. The first eighth-grader to start on both sides of the ball at BB&N, he broke the career rushing record as a senior when he ran for 1,002 yards and scored 13 touchdowns. The five-time all-ISL player is also a two-time all-New England player. The six-time All-American wrestler will continue in that sport at the University of Virginia.

Charlie Bates
Arlington Catholic, Senior, RB
The Catholic Central Large co-MVP leaves the Cougars after rushing for more than 2,800 yards and scoring 37 touchdowns, 23 this season. Bates, who also runs track, averaged an astounding 8.9 yards per carry this season. At cornerback, he had five interceptions in his career.
ALEXANDRA DOODY
FRAMINGHAM, Jr
A junior, Doody earned Eastern Mass. All-Star honors for the third time and was named All-State after totaling 17 goals and six assists as the Flyers finished at 13-5-1 and won the Bay State Conference Carey Division title. She also plays for the FC Stars Under-17 team. Doodys long-term goal is to play Division 1 college soccer.
