AE’s Connaughton & Macomber Lead St. John’s Prep to Perfect Start
AE’s Pat Connaughton and Conor Macomber have helped lead the St. John’s Prep Varsity Basketball team to a perfect 6-0 start this season. Connaughton, who was recently featured in a Boston Globe article detailing his emergence as one of the premier basketball and baseball prospects in the state, is averaging23 points and 17 rebounds per game so far this season, while Macomber has also been an integral part of the team’s success. Both athletes worked extremely hard at Athletic Evolution this past summer and fall to prepare themselves for the season and it is obviously paying dividends now.
