Erik Kaloyanides CSCS, CrossFit (CF-L1)- President and CEO, Head Strength CoachThe staff is led by head strength and conditioning specialist and President of Athletic Evolution, Erik Kaloyanides CSCS. After an outstanding high school and college football career at Reading Memorial High School and Syracuse University, Erik has focused his career on improving athletic performance and health and wellness for people of all ages and abilities. Erik is a certified by the NSCA as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He has trained thousands of local athletes in all sports. Erik was selected as one of 7 strength coaches to travel with NIKE and SPARQ to perform various speed and agility camps across the country. Erik is viewed as one of the nations leading NIKE SPARQ trainers. Katrina Hable – President/Executive Director, TEAM EVOLUTION LACROSSE (www.teamevolutionlax.com), Strength CoachKatrina Hable is an established Division I lacrosse player, former All-American, record holder and 4 year Captain at Syracuse University. She was a highly-competitive lacrosse standout, mentor and coach. She has over 13 years experience coaching and brings a wealth of knowledge to AE in lacrosse at both the developmental and competitive level. She has coached at the youth, high school and collegiate level, as a high school coach in 2 years produced 9 D1 Scholarship athletes, All-Americans and 3 USA players, 10 current college coaches and placed through her club in 1 year, EVO players at some of the top D1, D2 and D3 schools in the country. (Including 2- D1 scholarships this year) Katrina’s professional skill-set is complemented by her insight as an athlete and coach. She truly has a passion and excitement about her when helping each and every individual and understands how to motivate and encourage each athlete. Katrina is committed to helping Athletic Evolution and each individual athlete achieve their respective goals. Katrina runs an elite lacrosse club in New England that looks to develop players athleticism, technical and tactical skills, academic achievement as well as instill the desire to compete at the highest levels. This program is available to lacrosse players from the ages of 8-18 and is the perfect home for any young girls looking to better her skills and develop into the best athlete, teammate, mentor, lacrosse player and individual both on and off the field. Chris Zardas – CrossFit (CF-L1) Trainer, Strength CoachChris Zardas came to AE in the summer of2011. Chris brings with him anextensive first hand knowledge of the program having participated in AE’s NFLcombine training program while preparing for the NFL draft. While training atAE Chris developed a passion for training that led him to becoming a strengthcoach. In the fall of 2011 Chrisbranched out in the athletic community by attaining his CrossFit level 1certification. Chris was instrumental in the launching of AE CrossFit. Chrishas local roots, living in Wakefield and graduating from St. Johns Prep wherehe was a football standout. During his time at St. Johns Prep Chris had astellar career earning a Full Scholarship to UMass and breaking several schoolrecords along the way. Chris also lettered in baseball, basketball, andlacrosse during his high school career at the prep. During his senior year at UMass Chris earned all-new Englandand first team All-CAA honors at running back. In the spring of 2011 Chris signed an NFL contract with thePhiladelphia Eagles. Chris brings an athletic skill set and enthusiasm to AE that can’t be duplicated very easily. He enjoys working withyoung athletes and wants to continue to grow as a strength coach. Scott Duggan, CSCS, Strength CoachScott Duggan joined AE as a Strength Coach in the fall of 2011. Scott comes to AE after completing a summer internship at Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning. In addition to his internship this summer, Scott led Assumption Football through their summer strength and conditioning program. Scott is a former 2 sport Captain at Hudson High School, excelling at both football and ice hockey. He went on to Worcester Academy where he played football and hockey while completing a post-grad year. Following Worcester Academy Scott walked on to the UMass football team where he eventually earned a Full Scholarship. Scott finished his football career in 2010 after lettering three years and starting one at Fullback. He earned the UMass special teams player of the year award in 2010. Upon completion of his UMass education in the fall of 2010, Scott earned a degree in Kinesiology. Scott has a tremendous passion for training athletes and working in the Strength and Conditioning field; something he acquired over years of hard work pushing himself to attain his own athletic goals. Now he wants to help young, driven athletes accomplish their own athletic goals. Kelly Miler, CSCS, Strength CoachKelly is a former 2 sport Captain in soccer and swimming at North Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. She competed nationally with Greensboro SoccerClub and was a 5 year starter with North Carolina’s Olympic Development Program. She went on to play soccer at the University of Kentucky and rugby at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During her time at the University of Kentucky, Kelly was a starting center back and center midfielder. She also earned Academic All-SEC and Academic All-American awards by maintaining a 4.0 GPA as well as being part of UK’s Academic Team of the Year. Kelly holds a B.A. in Exercise and Sport Science from UNC Chapel Hill and is certified by the NSCA as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She also holds a USSF National “D” Coaching License in soccer. Prior to AthleticEvolution, Kelly was a youth soccer coach in Raleigh, North Carolina with the Capital Area Soccer League (CASL) and the assistant coach at East Chapel Hill High School. Kelly’s enthusiasm and background in multiple sports as well as strength and conditioning continue to improve at Athletic Evolution. Her desire to help athletes excel not only on the field, but in the classroom, demonstrates her ability to mentor athletes on achieving balance in sport and in life. Larry Thomas, Strength CoachLarry Thomas joined AE as a Strength Coach in the winter of 2011 after an exemplary tenure as an intern here in the summer. Larry was a two sport varsity athlete in high school playing both football and lacrosse at Baltimore City College High School before finishing his high school career at Pikesville High School. Larry then went on to play football at McDaniel College in Westminster, MD. While attending McDaniel College Larry earned a degree in Exercise Science with a double minor in Sports Coaching and Athletic Training. Larry became a certified personal trainer with the National Counsel of Strength and Fitness and began a career as a personal trainer while still attending college. With over two years of personal training experience he decided to make a career change and become a strength coach. Larry has a very thrilling and competitive personality and training style which has led to his success thus far and he continues to display that while training at AE. Rick Bianco – Strength CoachRick came to us in 2005. He brings with him over 25 years of experience and is certified by the American Council of Exercise (ACE). His expertise is in activities of weight loss training, bodybuilding, power lifting, athletic training, functional training and rehabilitation training (ability to maintain workouts during minor injuries in order to sustain a level of fitness). Rick also had much success in his earlier athletic years. He was Boston Glob All Scholastic in football. Due to Rick’s outstanding high school football career, he was later inducted into the Hall of Fame in his hometown of Peabody, MA. After college, his intense training regiment led him into Natural Bodybuilding. He then competed in the Mr. Massachusetts All Natural Bodybuilding and placed second. He was also in the top 5 at the Mr. New England All Natural Bodybuilding. Rick’s work ethic has always been simple: Dedication + Consistency = Progress. Rick received his education at UMASS Amherst and has additional certifications that include: Exercising through Pregnancy, Injury Rehab and Lower Back Injury Prevention and Rehab. He is also CPR certifited. |

Dr. Tim DonovanTim graduated from St. Anselm College with a Bachelor’s degree while majoring in Natural Sciences. From there he went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Tim moved to Reading in 1999 and opened his first practice. Dr. Donovan just completed his ninth year in practice at Reading Family Chiropractic. He came to Athletic Evolution in March of 2006 and has continued working with athletes to help prevent injury and restore optimum function if an injury does occur.
