Speed, Power, Agility, Reaction, Quickness (SPARQ)


AE offers the most innovative and proven strength and conditioning programs in the Northeast. Our state-of-the-art facility, with over 10,000 square feet of indoor turf (70 yards in length),allows for year round uninterrupted movement training as well as a wide variety of exercises that we incorporate into the training programs. Our group based Athletic Enhancement programs, which are typically for athletes ages 12+ (no adults),consist of an intense 10-week program that is designed with two simple purposes in mind-keep each athlete injury free; and make each athlete more dynamic and explosive. Each athlete is closely monitored by our expert trainers throughout the 2 hour workoutsto ensure safety as well as maximum results.

The Workouts

Athletes can choose to join a group that meets either 2, 3, or 4 days per week – Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions offer either 2,3, or 4-day programs; Summer session offers either 2 or 4-day programs. Each workout is 2 hours in length and consists of the following:

First hour:

  • Dynamic form running
  • Agility, foot quickness, and change of direction drills
  • Plyometrics in all 3 phases (lateral, linear, and vertical)
  • Speed development both linearly and lateral
  • Conditioning
  • Core stability, balance, and strengthening


Second hour:

  • Strength Training (focusing on proper technique)
  • Olympic Lifts (developing explosive power)
  • Functional Movements (body weight multi-joint movements)
  • Flexibility

Our promise to each athlete is that they will see improvement in their speed, strength, and explosive power.
