Internship Programs
Athletic Evolution offers internship programs for all of our Athletic Performance Enhancement programs (summer, fall, winter, and spring). Internship commitments and responsibilities will run for the length of each program, approximately 10-12 weeks.
Applicants should be currently enrolled in either an undergraduate or graduate level program or a recent college graduate. We ask that our interns be passionate, eager and motivated to learn, and dedicated towards the strength and conditioning field.
Our Group Performance Enhancement Programs offer:
The training session are two hours long and all athletes can expect to improve on sports specific movements, speed and lateral quickness, strength, power, flexibility, and cardiovascular conditioning. The first hour of the session will be dedicated to the sports specific movements that the body is required to perform.
- Dynamic warm-up
- Core stabilization- abs, trunk work. balance
- Plyometrics- power improving drills
- Agility and footwork drills- jumping rope, agility ladder, cones
- Speed- resistance running, assistance running
- Cardiovascular Endurance- conditioning
- Flexibility
The second hour of each session will be dedicated to improving in overall strength training.
- Proper technique- emphasis on correct form for all exercises
- Progressive routine- challenging routines increase on a workout to workout basis
During your internship, you will be asked to coach and assist high school and collegiate athletes in the areas mentioned above. By participating in our internship programs, we expect you to learn and improve on your skills and ability to be strength and conditioning professionals. Summer internships will have the opportunity to work with up to 400 high school and collegiate athletes per day. We are accepting 8 interns for the summer session. All interns will receive a $1,000 stipend for their commitment and effort.
