Erik Kaloyanides CSCS – President and CEOThe staff is led by head strength and conditioning specialist and President of Athletic Evolution, Erik Kaloyanides CSCS. After an outstanding high school and college football career at Reading Memorial High School and Syracuse University, Erik has focused his career on improving athletic performance and health and wellness for people of all ages and abilities. Erik is a certified by the NSCA as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He has trained thousands of local athletes in all sports. Erik was selected as one of 7 strength coaches to travel with NIKE and SPARQ to perform various speed and agility camps across the country. Erik is viewed as one of the nation’s leading NIKE SPARQ trainers. David Kaloyanides NASM-CPT, Director of Strength & ConditioningDavid Kaloyanides is the General Manager of AE’s Woburn location. David is a former Reading Memorial High School 2 sport stand-out athlete playing both football and baseball. He then went on to star at Sacred Heart University where he continued to play both football and baseball. David is an exceptional athlete and received a total of 7 letters (4 in baseball and 3 in football) at a Division 1 University. David brings youth, tremendous enthusiasm, and dedication to making sure all of the athletes at Athletic Evolution have the best possible experience. He truly understands how to motivate and encourage people and has an amazing touch while dealing with each individual athlete. His knowledge in this field and his passion to continue to improve makes David a great addition to the Athletic Evolution team. Mike Perry, RKC, CPT (NSCA), USATF, USA-W, FMS Specialist – Director of Personal TrainingMike’s passion, energy, creativity and constant desire to learn have helped him become the expert strength and conditioning coach that he is today. Regardless of your fitness level, Mike will educate you about your own body and design a program tailored to help you achieve your individual goals. Additionally, he will teach you ways to make your workouts more effective and efficient. Whether your goals are speed, strength, endurance, agility, power, rehabilitation, prehabilitation, or general fitness Mike can help you become successful through a combination of progressive training, motivation and commitment. He specializes in re-training the individual’s movement patterns. By detecting imbalances and weaknesses, he will design a program that incorporates corrective exercise which allows the athlete to perform without limitation. Mike has trained/rehabilitated several players from the NFL, MLS, MLB as well as NCAA and High school athletes. He is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a Certified USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach (USA-W), and a Certified USA Level 1 Track and Field Coach (USATF), a Certified Russian Kettlebell Instructor (RKC) and a Certified Functional Movement Screen Specialist (FMS). Katrina Hable – Strength Coach, Director of Mission: LAXKatrina Hable is an established Division I lacrosse player, former All-American, record holder and 4 year Captain at Syracuse University. She was a highly-competitive lacrosse standout, mentor and coach. She has over twelve years experience coaching and brings a wealth of knowledge to AE in lacrosse at both the developmental and competitive level. Katrina’s professional skill-set is complemented by her insight as an athlete and coach. She truly has a passion and excitement about her when helping each and every individual and understands how to motivate and encourage each athlete. Jon Mangel, CSCS – Strength CoachJon joins the staff at Athletic Evolution as Strength Coach after graduating with a bachelors degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology from the Florida State University. While at Florida State, Jon was a member of the Men’s Rowing Team in which he was competitive in both fall and spring seasons. In the fall of 2004, he was awarded the Oarsman trophy for his contribution on and off the water during the Head race season. As a former student athlete Jon understands the challenges facing young athletes and how to get the best out of each of them during their time at Athletic Evolution. Alex O’Keefe, CSCS – Strength Coach, Director of EducationAlex O’Keefe joined AE as a Strength Coach in 2008 after completing a very successful internship here. Alex is a former 3 sport Captain at Hingham High School playing football, baseball and wrestling. He went on to Springfield College where he recieved a degree in Applied Exercise Science and also played baseball and football. Alex comes to AE after working with Auburn University, where he worked with the baseball, football, women’s soccer and women’s baskeball teams, as well as the University of South Carolina where he worked with the baseball, softball, golf and track teams. Alex’s knowledge and passion for motivating and training athletes will be a great addition to Athletic Evolution team. Alex is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specailist. Alex works directly with the local Colleges and Universities and is in charge of handling all interns that apply to and for AE throughout the course of a given year. Brian Skeffington – Chief Operating OfficerBrian Skeffington joined the AE staff in June of 2009 as the Chief Operating Officer. Brian is a former 3-sport standout and 2-sport Captain at Woburn High School where he played football, basketball and outdoor track. He went on to play football at Dartmouth College where he received a degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance. After graduating from Dartmouth in 2005, Brian spent four years working in commercial real estate – both on the brokerage side at Jones Lang LaSalle and on the principal side at Taurus Investment Holdings – before deciding to jump back into the athletic world full-time. Brian has been coaching sports and participating in various other teaching and mentoring programs at the youth level for over 10 years and he truly understands how to motivate and communicate with young athletes. Brian’s passion for teaching and coaching, coupled with his experiences playing competitive athletics at the collegiate level and his work experience with two very successful companies in the corporate world, make him a valuable asset for the AE team. Among Brian’s primary roles is running the day to day operations in the Woburn facility and developing new avenues for AE to continue to help student athletes succeed. Dr. Tim DonovanTim graduated from St. Anselm College with a Bachelor’s degree while majoring in Natural Sciences. From there he went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Tim moved to Reading in 1999 and opened his first practice. Dr. Donovan just completed his ninth year in practice at Reading Family Chiropractic. He came to Athletic Evolution in March of 2006 and has continued working with athletes to help prevent injury and restore optimum function if an injury does occur. |

Welcome the Newest Member of AE’s Team!
Congratulations to AE President Erik Kaloyanides and his wife Monique on the birth of their beautiful baby girl, Lucia Grace Kaloyanides. Lucia was born Tuesday night and measured 18.5″ and weighed 6 lbs 14 oz. Both mother and baby are healthy and doing well. Welcome to the team Lucia!
