The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation (FOJ) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, charitable organization that improves the quality of life for children with pediatric brain tumors and their families formed in 2005.
FOJ matches a child in need of love, support and friendship with a college or high school sports team based on geographic basis. Through a due diligence process, the foundation screens for the best match based on the child and family’s needs and the team, coach and athletic director’s commitment to our foundation’s goals.
AE encourages all of you to visit their website below, take a look at Jaclyn’s video and learn more about how you can help this remarkable organization.
This was the first New England Nike Combine and Recruiting Seminar ever, the next closest combine being at Penn State. Athletic Evolution was at the reigns of the entire event along with ESPNU, drawing in football players from every state throughout New England, including a tremendous showing out of MA and CT, close to 90 players alone. Each player was Nike Sparq Tested in four events, 40 yrd dash, shuttle run, vertical jump, and power ball toss. Once they finished they were given their Sparq rating, giving them a good basline and the ability to see where they need to improve as well as compare themselves nationally to all high school Sparq tested players.
It was a huge success and an excellent showing across the board, including a few of AE’s athletes in the top percentile…Congrats to AE’s Anthony Fabiano for receiving the second highest rating of the day with a 93.24! Fabiano, a 6-5, 256-pound junior, ran the 40 in 5.05, completed the shuttle in 4.42, tossed the power ball 41 feet, 7 inches and had a vertical leap of 29.3.
