Mission: Hoops
AE now has a basketball court within its facility for our current basketball athletes to utilize as well as for outside coaches and instructors to use for individual or small group skill development sessions. The court measure 55′ wide (regulation width) and 35′ long and has one permanent wall-mounted regulation size 72′ glass backboard as well as two portable hoops with 60′ glass backboards. Given the scarcity and high relative cost of court time in the area, our goal with the basketball court is offer an affordable option for local basketball players and teams to improve their on-court skills. We also plan to offer unique hybrid programs where we combine off-court training with on-court skill development to help fully prepare our basketball players for their upcoming seasons, something that no other facility can offer in the area!
Individual & Small Group Instruction
AE has relationships with several local basketball instructors who utilize our court to run private lessons for individuals and small groups. Individual lessons are tailored specifically to each athlete’s needs and focus on all aspects of the game - shooting, ball handling, defensive positioning, rebounding, etc. – all of which are essential skills to hone in order to take your game to the next level. Practices are great but how much skill development do you actually get during a practice? If you really want to improve you need to put the work in on our own outside of practices and games, and AE is the place to do it!
Court Rentals
In addition to private lessons AE also offers third parties the opportunity to rent the basketball court for their own use. Parents and coaches are encouraged to bring their kids or teams to AE and utilize our court for their own instructional sessions. All rentals are done on a first come, first serve basis and cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Rates range from $25-$40 per hour depending on the number of hours committed to and the days and times of usage.

Welcome the Newest Member of AE’s Team!
Congratulations to AE President Erik Kaloyanides and his wife Monique on the birth of their beautiful baby girl, Lucia Grace Kaloyanides. Lucia was born Tuesday night and measured 18.5″ and weighed 6 lbs 14 oz. Both mother and baby are healthy and doing well. Welcome to the team Lucia!
