Hockey On-Ice Training
AE recently upgraded our 60’x30’ real ice rink, which provides our athletes with a unique opportunity to work out and skate at the same place at a discounted cost. It is nearly impossible to find ice time in this area and even when you can get on the ice the cost is usually high because you have to rent an entire sheet. AE’s smaller rink allows us to lower the rates to make it more affordable for individuals and small groups to rent ice time and hone their skills. We also offer hybrid programs where off-ice training and on-ice skill development are included in the same package. See below for details.
5,000 Puck Touch Challenge
Athletic Evolution, Valerie Bono and Seven Hockey are proud to announce a new groundbreaking on-ice/off-ice hockey training program this summer where each player is guaranteed to get 5,000 puck touches over the course of 4 weeks. Designed after the European model, which consists of less time playing games and more time developing skills and improving speed, agility and strength, this new program will give each player the total hockey experience that they need to improve this offseason and get a step ahead of the competition!
PROGRAM DETAILS
* All groups will start out with 6 players on the ice and 6 players off the ice. After 60 minutes they will switch.

AE’s Summer On-Ice Goal Scoring Program
Athletic Evolution is excited to announce a new goal scoring/shooting program developed by USA Hockey’s Peter Ward. As a leader in off-ice training, we are constantly looking to provide hockey players with ways to improve their game and now we can do it on the ice as well. We hear it all the time from hockey coaches – they need players who can put the puck in the back of the net. With our new On-Ice Goal Scoring Program, both forwards and defensemen can improve their shooting release, accuracy and power, turning them into goal scorers.
The goal of this program is to offer an on-ice component to our already popular off-ice training program during the summer. Our high school hockey groups train from 8:40am-10:40am and 9:40am-11:40am every Monday-Thursday. Now you can add 2 days a week of on-ice training – either immediately before or immediately after your off-ice training – to give you the full hockey experience at AE and maximize your offseason. AE’s Summer Goal Scoring Program will run for 8 weeks throughout the summer (June 28th – August 19th) and athletes will have the option of either M/W or T/Th to be on the ice for approximately 50 minutes each day. Each group is limited to 6 players and costs $299 - a great deal for you!
PROGRAM DETAILS
- Improve your ability to score goals by working on shooting release, power, and accuracy
- Learn how to read opposing goaltenders and offensive opportunities
- Create opportunities to put the puck in the net
- Use AE as your one-stop shop for all your hockey training needs this summer
- Pick 2 days a week – M/W or T/Th – to combine this with your off-ice training and make sure you enter your fall season in peak form!
* Only for athletes participating in our Summer HS Hockey Groups at 8:40am or 9:40am
