Our new Athletic Development Program will be one of two semiprivate programs that take the place of the Customized Performance Training Program. This program doesn’t have an evaluation which will allow athletes to start immediately instead of going through our evaluation process which delays the start of training by 1-2 weeks. The Athletic Development Program is designed for younger athletes (middle school) and older athletes (high school) who have never lifted before. The program will be an introduction into strength and conditioning. Once an athlete has done 3 months of the Athletic Development they will graduate to our more advanced semi-private program, Small Group Training. Our Small Group Training Program comes with an evaluation and allows our coaches to design a more advanced program catered to the athletes’ sport(s), position(s), needs, and goals. These two programs will give athletes options for their training outside of Personal Training and Team Training, so they may select the best option for them.
Just like Customized Performance Training, this program will be run in a semi-private setting (athlete to coach ratio of 5 to 1). With our Athletic Development Program, each athlete will receive a program that will be designed based on their training age and their familiarity with our facility/programs. There is no individual evaluation with this program to save the athlete time and money. The flexibility and convenience that everyone loved with Custom Performance Training will remain with our Athletic Development Program. Athletes may choose from 2 day and 4 day monthly options. The more months you commit to, the cheaper your monthly rate. Since the program has rolling admission and there is no evaluation required, athletes can immediately start working towards their goals on the same day they sign up.
The program will focus on teaching athletes the movement patterns, exercises, and training habits that will lay the foundation of their athletic performance success for years to come. As they progress in our program, the program design will become more advanced until they are ready to progress to our Small Group Training Program and focus on sports specific programming to aid in whatever sport they play. Older athletes and athletes with experience in our programs should start with the Small Group Training Program which is more advanced and includes sports specific programs right away.
